Building brand design voice for a digital business group.

Role: Product Designer

Overview

Next Ventures is a group of digital companies focused on data privacy, gaming, and commerce.

I joined the team to define the product design direction and build the brand’s visual identity from scratch. I worked closely with the core team to develop a visual language that reflected the product’s mission and values, from early research through to final assets and guidelines.

My role also included designing the website, coordinating freelance contractors, and collaborating with the front-end team to test and deliver the final designs.

Responsibilities

• Defining brand design direction and building a consistent visual identity
• Presenting ideas and managing all stages of the design workflow
• Leading the website design process from concept to final handoff
• Coordinating work with freelance illustrators and Front-End developers
• Creating brand guidelines and supporting documentation

Branding and Visual Design

The logo is based on a customized Futura, chosen for its strong, condensed form that gives the brand a bold, confident feel. The color palette combines deep blues and warm purples with vibrant pink and aquamarine accents, adding energy and a forward-looking tone.

Website Design

The website was designed to clearly communicate the brand’s message and reflect its visual identity.

I led the process from early concepts to final handoff, shaping the structure, tone, and content along the way. I worked closely with front-end developers to refine interactions and make sure the final result felt consistent and well executed. The final system balances trust and innovation, staying true to the company’s core values.

Illustration

To bring more personality into the brand, I collaborated with freelance illustrators on custom artwork for the website and social media. I defined the overall illustration direction, gathered references, set up tasks, and provided feedback throughout the process to keep everything consistent and on-brand.

Result

The result was a strong, recognizable brand identity and a clear, engaging web presence.

This project gave me the chance to manage the full design cycle, from brand development to final delivery, while working closely with developers, stakeholders, and contractors. After the core branding and website work was done, I continued supporting Next Ventures by creating visual materials for their partner companies.
