Overview

Optimus is a crowdfunding community aimed to connect crypto investors and seed-stage web3 businesses. 

I was brought on to define the product design direction and establish the brand’s visual identity, as well as to build and improve the UI for various browser apps. I worked closely with the Optimus team to create a strong visual design voice that reflected the product’s values and vision.

My responsibilities included developing the brand’s design language from scratch—conducting research, sketching concepts, and delivering final brand assets and guidelines. In parallel, I played a key role in building and enhancing the interface for the Optimus product app, as well as improving multiple web apps for Optimus and their side projects.

In addition to my interface work, I designed multiple landing pages and websites for Optimus and their partners. I also created promotional landing pages, social media content, and visual materials such as ebooks, guidelines, and investor brochures.

Branding and visual design

My first objective at Optimus was to craft a strong, recognizable brand voice that aligned with their mission. I developed a bold and futuristic design language, characterized by bright, energetic colors and distinct typography, to convey a sense of optimism, courage, and community.

The logo design represents a space hub with a departing spaceship, symbolizing the community's role in launching new Web3 businesses while fostering a collaborative investment environment.

Web app interface

I collaborated closely with the development team to refresh outdated app modules and introduce new features. My role involved refactoring the app’s visual style and enhancing the overall user experience, applying a touch of friendly gamification to make the interface more engaging.

I worked on both customer-facing and admin interfaces, consolidating the UI design system and ensuring consistency across multiple web apps for Optimus and their partners.

Websites and landing pages

I was responsible for designing websites that clearly conveyed the brand's mission and values.

From concept to production, I led the design process, collaborating with the marketing and front-end teams to ensure a cohesive and visually impactful result. This involved everything from design research and sketching wireframes to establishing the final visual style and delivering organized design assets.

Result

My contributions helped Optimus establish a distinctive and recognizable brand design that reflects their vision.

This role allowed me to manage the full product design cycle, from building the brand’s identity to developing multiple modules of the Optimus product app.

I also gained valuable experience in blockchain-based technologies, significantly expanding my skills in both UX & UI design and product development.
